OUR MISSION IS TO CHANGE THE WAY MOST PEOPLE (DON'T) DRINK WATER

Sipwise was founded with a bold and transformative vision: to revolutionise the way people think about hydration, wellness, and sustainability. From the beginning, we set out to go beyond creating just another product―we aimed to build a venture that leaves a lasting impact on individual well-being, communities, and the planet. Born out of the vibrant innovation ecosystem of IIT Bombay, Sipwise has always been more than a business. It’s a mission-led initiative built on the belief that small, thoughtful changes in daily habits―like staying properly hydrated―can lead to meaningful improvements in health, productivity, and environmental impact.

We realised early that hydration, despite being fundamental to human health, was often overlooked. People simply forget to drink water, and existing solutions lacked the ability to engage users meaningfully. Manual tracking methods were tedious. Most “smart bottles” were clunky or gimmicky. So, we saw an opportunity: to build a product that not only solved this challenge but did so beautifully―seamlessly integrating into modern lifestyles.

Sipwise was never just a bottle. It was a design-first response to a lifestyle problem―an attempt to make hydration habitual, enjoyable, and responsible. Our approach has always been holistic: blending utility with simplicity, design with delight, and purpose with profit. The result? An elegant, accessible solution that builds habits people stick to.

But Sipwise isn’t only about hydration―it’s about shaping a broader movement toward mindful living. We’re building a community of users who care more about how they live, what they consume, and the footprint they leave behind. That’s why sustainability has been central from Day 1. By promoting long-life, reusable products and reducing dependence on single-use plastics, we’re not just building a brand―we’re pushing forward a better way of living.

What we believe in:

  1. Technology for Good: Solutions must create tangible value for people and the planet.
  2. Customer and User Focus: Prioritising user empowerment, accessibility, and trust.
  3. Innovation and Learning: Evolving constantly―hardware, software, and thinking.
  4. Integrity and Transparency: No cutting corners. No gimmicks.
  5. Collaboration and Inclusivity: We grow faster when we build together―with our team, partners, and community.

From our earliest prototypes to a growing portfolio of award-winning hydration products, our mission remains the same: to design habit-forming wellness solutions that are smart, sustainable, and irresistibly usable.

Backed by government grants, validation from top-tier programs, and love from thousands of early adopters, we’ve grown into a purpose-driven product company. Sipwise stands today not just as a hydration brand, but as a creative studio for functional wellness tech―building devices that solve real problems and earn a place in people’s routines.

And this is just the beginning.

Meet our Directors

Pavan Kale, Founder and CEO

Meet Pavan Kale, the visionary Founder and CEO of Sipwise Smart Bottles. Graduating from IIT Bombay in 2023 with a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science, an M.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Electronics Systems specialization), and a minor in Entrepreneurship, Pavan has an impressive academic foundation. His accolades, including the Institute Technical Colour Award, highlight his talents, which he showcased by winning national and international competitions in aerial robotics, product management, and sustainability.

What sets Pavan apart is his relentless drive and passion for innovation.
